Key Points

• Bayern Munich has started negotiations for Michael Olise's new contract.
• Bayern Monaco, via alle tratative per il rinnovo di Olise: possibile accordo fino al 2032.

Bayern Munich are focused on securing Michael Olise's long-term stay, after the club began negotiations for the winger's new contract. According to the report, the deal in the works could extend to 2032—an indication that Bayern want to tie down one of their most important pieces in attack while shaping the project in the coming years. Olise arrived in Munich in 2024 from Crystal Palace and quickly made his mark as a dynamic and creative option on the flank. Known for his speed, dribbling, and last-pass skills, he brings an unpredictable element to the final third—traits that Bayern will increasingly value in building a deep and dangerous frontline. Under the leadership of coach Vincent Kompany, the likes of Olise are important pieces for a system that is fast-transitioning and high-pressure. Early progress on contractual matters can be considered a strategic move. At a time when Europe's top clubs are aggressively pursuing elite wingers, a long-term deal would help Bayern protect their asset and provide stability to the core of the team. While there has been no official announcement from the club or the player's camp, it is clear from this direction that Bayern want to remove any doubt over Olise's future in Munich.

If realized, the contract until 2032 would give Bayern considerable control over the next decade, while matching the trend of long deals for young players who are considered a pillar of the project. For Olise, this will open up the opportunity to continue to hone at the highest level of the competition, with Bayern's array of stars such as Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, and the central target up front. In a wider context, this is also part of Bayern's aim to regain and ensure that it maintains dominance in the Bundesliga and remains a contendér in the UEFA Champions League. Having a strong and cohesive attacking force is critical in both domestic and European competition, and Olise's long-term stay adds depth and quality to the coach's selection. As talks continue, more details are expected to follow in the coming weeks. For now, the message from Munich is clear: Michael Olise is central to Bayern's plan for now and into the future, and the club is willing to spend time and resources to ensure he stays at the Allianz Arena well into the next decade. No deal has been finalized yet, but the start of negotiations is already setting the tone—Bayern are serious about locking down their top winger on a long-term deal.

What's next

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, as Bayern Munich aim to complete the deal before the next transfer window. A successful contract signing for Olise could allow deeper squad development in the future, especially under the leadership of coach Vincent Kompany. Also, securing his services will help to avoid any interest from other Bundesliga clubs or teams in other leagues.
