For Fabregas, this was not just an ordinary match but a dream come true—not only for him but for the entire club that has made rapid progress in recent years. "Manchester United is a really tough team. I still can't imagine that just a few years ago, we were still playing in Serie B, and nobody thought that we would face Manchester United here in Como. But on Wednesday, it will happen. For us, a dream has come true and we want to make the most of this opportunity," said Fabregas. The former player of Spain and Barcelona also emphasized that although it is a great prestige to enter the Champions League and to face one of the biggest teams in the world, their role in Serie A should not be neglected. "The Champions League is a gift to us after our good season. This is the most difficult and highest level of competition that surpasses other cups such as the World Cup or Euro," he said. This match seems to signal a new chapter for Como. As they face Manchester United, they will hope to be significant not only for the point but also for morale and experience at the highest level of European football.
