As Fiorentina's clash against Atalanta in Serie A approaches, former defender Lorenzo Stovini has expressed his thoughts on the current state of the Viola. In an interview with Radio FirenzeViola, he boldly stated that the team still hasn't found their true identity – something he says is a serious matter for a top-tier team in Italian football. According to Stovini, "The change of coach has a big impact on the team. Until now, Fiorentina still doesn't have a definite system, even at the end of November. It's a big problem." He also pointed out that instead of the team's performance growing, the direction of the players seems to be going wild, especially in the crucial moments of their matches. In recent weeks, the pressure has been intense on Fiorentina after several bitter defeats. Although there were flashes of brilliance in some matches, the team still lacked consistency. Facing Atalanta will be another challenge—not just for the new coach but for the entire squad as well, who are constantly adjusting to the changes.

They need to prove that they can recover and show a clear system so as not to be left behind in the league standings. Fans continue to hope that they will see the true strength and direction of their team in the coming weeks. The match against Atalanta could mark a new beginning for the Viola, or it could also worsen the crisis if the team's identity issue is not resolved immediately. All in all, Stovini's message is clear: it's time for Fiorentina to show their true colors and lay a solid foundation for tougher Serie A matches ahead.
