Calderwood, born in Northern Ireland, started out as a jardinero or groundsman in England and then worked at Aston Villa before being snapped up by PSG 11 years ago. His Premier League best fielder awards in 2009 and 2012 brought him fame, and he became an inspiration to the ground staff of football clubs across Europe. As PSG continue their preparations for Europe and World Cup 2026 ambitions, internal changes are also temporarily in the news, particularly in technical staff such as ground management.
