Andy Rinomhota Renew One-Year Contract With Reading

Andy Rinomhota has officially signed a new one-year contract to stay at Reading for the 2026-27 season. The 29-year-old midfielder returned to Reading last November and managed just three games due to injuries. Despite limited playing time, he is still part of Leam Richardson's formed squad for the coming season.

Rinomhota was a product of Royals' youth academy and first rose to the senior team where he made 139 appearances before moving on and playing three years at Cardiff City. He shared his delight at the new opportunity the club has given him: "This club means a lot to me and I'm excited to have a full pre-season to prepare and help the team's goals this season," Rinomhota told the Royals' official website.
