Ansu Fati agrees to Monaco: approved purchase from Barcelona, contract until 2030
After the loan was serviced, Ansu Fati accepted Monaco's offer to buy him from Barcelona for €11 million; new contract expected to expire in 2030.
Ansu Fati chose to continue his stint with AS Monaco and will not return to FC Barcelona after the loan term. According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, the player has given his final refusal and his agent and Monaco management have reached an agreement on the final details of the new contract.
Monaco is ready to activate the buy option stated in the agreement from last summer — €11 million — but so far the player's consent is not there. Now, according to the same report, Fati has agreed to sign a new contract that is expected to expire in 2030, two years longer than his current contract with Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have also reportedly found a deal for Anthony Gordon from Newcastle, part of a wider overhaul of their roster to allow for new additions such as Bernando Silva.
