Real Madrid's Chief Scout Spotted Against Brazil and Morocco to Monitor Possible Targets

Real Madrid's chief scout watched Brazil's match against Morocco in light of their continued search for new talent for next season, including rising star Ayyoub Bouaddi, while also assessing Vinicius Jr's contract situation.

Real Madrid have a clear mission this transfer window: build a team that will once again rule Europe. They have already added three new players for next season, and are currently trying to lure Michael Olise from Bayern Munich to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But more than that, Rodra P. reports that the club's head scout Juni Calafat personally attended Brazil's match against Morocco recently. In the game, players who can be linked to Real Madrid—directly or not—stand out. The most prominent name is Ayyoub Bouaddi, Morocco's 18-year-old midfielder, who showed brilliance in his World Cup debut, with a great performance against Brazil. Bouaddi has often been linked with Real Madrid as one of the tournament's breakout stars. Calafat is known for his talent to discover young stars before other European clubs see them, so it was only logical that he would focus on Bouaddi in that match.

As for the Brazilian side, several Real Madrid players are part of the squad. Vinicius Jr. is there of course, and Endrick will also return to the club this summer. In Morocco, the roster includes Brahim Diaz, forward of Real Madrid, who is also discussed regarding his future at the club.

Aside from the potential transfer, attention has been sparked by Vinicius Jr. who is part of Real Madrid's current line-up. According to reports, negotiations are still pending for the renewal of his contract, which will be discussed again after the World Cup. This tournament is at a crucial stage for the 25-year-old Brazilian—a big test of his form and value in the club's long-term plans. His contract expires in June 2027, but for months there has been no progress in negotiations over his salary demands of up to €30 million per season, to match the likes of Kylian Mbappe.

Although Vinicius' camp and Real Madrid have both issued statements of intent to continue the association, no agreement has yet been reached, so he could potentially enter the final year of his contract with his fate still in question. If Vinicius Jr. will show well. in the World Cup, his bargaining power will increase. But if he fails, it could also cause additional complications, especially since Real Madrid have already invested heavily in their offense and they continue to hover around big names in the market.
