It seems that Manchester United are continuously adjusting their team under the leadership of Michael Carrick for the upcoming season. In the middle of the transfer window, the Red Devils are rolling out their plans right away—no fuss, just straight-up business. According to the report of the Standard, the double-transer deal is said to be signed soon which will allow Altay Bayindir and Radek Vitek to both leave Old Trafford this summer. Altay Bayindir, who has not been the main option in the goalkeeper position, will soon be on loan from Celta Vigo. The report confirmed that Bayindir has little chance of playing in the first team, so this move is a natural one. If his loan spell succeeds, Celta Vigo are said to be ready to buy him for a permanent fee of around £3.5 million. In this case, Bayindir will benefit from having regular playing time, while Manchester United's roster will have more clarity. Meanwhile, Radek Vitek's situation is more remarkable. His performances at Bristol City were praised so much that he is ready to move to Middlesbrough for a deal worth up to £14 million. The initial fee was £7 million, but United still had protections—including a 35 percent sell-on clause, matching rights, and a buy-back option. That means United still believe in Vitek's potential, even if he doesn't have a vacant spot right now.

It's not just outgoing transfers that United is speeding up. They recently completed the signing of Andrey Santos and activated the £35 million release clause for Youri Tielemans. It was also aggressive in removing those who are no longer needed such as Rasmus Hojlund (who has moved to Napoli), Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho. Despite these, one of the main priorities now at Old Trafford is the left back. Luke Shaw is the only remaining natural left-back in the entire team—a concern especially given the long season. The report mentions Newcastle's Lewis Hall as the target, but he seems elusive. This means Carrick will have to find an alternative left-back before the start of the season. For Manchester United supporters, Bayindir's impending departure is welcome—he doesn't have much of a role in the first team. More attention is focused on Vitek, who could return to the club should the potential come to fruition. All in all, the movement in this transfer window is more systematic and orderly. It shows that Michael Carrick already has a solid plan for the team and the club is ready to deliver on it—the next few weeks are sure to be hot with player changes and Manchester United strengthening.

What's next

Bayindir's move to Celta Vigo is expected to be formalized in the coming weeks, allowing him to play in La Liga. Meanwhile, Radek Vitek is close to a move to Middlesbrough, showing United's confidence in his future potential. These moves are part of Manchester United's wider plans in the summer transfer window, where they aim to improve their squad for the upcoming season of Premier League football.
