Di Canio surprised by Palestra's decision: chose Chelsea over Inter — "Premier League is the best university in the world"

Paolo Di Canio has expressed surprise and understanding at Marco Palestra's choice to take the path to Chelsea over Inter. In his statement to Sky Sport, the former striker insisted that the pull of Chelsea's prestige, league level and compensation was clear in this decision.
"Inter is a rock for us and until the end I thought Palestra would go there," said Di Canio. "But when you include the weight of Chelsea, the league, and the salary, everything is really different. The 'double jump,' is big and unique, and the kid is ready: he has the physical and technical qualities. It's just important to give him minutes, especially for the National Team."
