Douglas Luiz joined Juve in 2024 from Aston Villa for an estimated €51.5 million. Despite the huge transfer fee, he struggled to get regular playing time—only 27 appearances were recorded for the Bianconeri. In his first season, he split his time in charge of Nottingham Forest and also a return to Villa, causing his Juventus future to fade further.
