Radio Catalunya's Ernest Macia praised Victor Munoz for his pace, one-on-one courage and direct attack—traits that look set to suit the Premier League, amid Liverpool's bold move.
Radio Catalunya journalist Ernest Macia highlighted the speed and directness of Victor Munoz's attack—traits he said immediately change the tempo of the game and make it difficult for defenders. In an interview with BBC Radio Merseyside, Macia said the 22-year-old attacker has the weapons to suit the speed and physicality of the Premier League.
"It is noteworthy for him, from the point of view of Spain, the story is good because he worked hard for several years to reach the first division and finally, he did it," said Macia. "After almost 40 games, he is at the level of the best—Barcelona players or teams in the Champions League. Very athletic, creative, and capable of one-on-one and intense pace—which I think will be useful in the Premier League."
Munoz came through La Masia's renowned youth academy, before playing for Damm and Real Madrid. He moved to Osasuna in 2025 and quickly made his mark in La Liga 2025–26, where he was shortlisted for Young Player of the Season.

Macia also emphasized that "defenses against him are not comfortable because of the speed and direct attack." In modern football, he said, that kind of speed is invaluable and very marketable—something Munoz has "in abundance."
However, the question remains whether the development he has shown in a short time in Spain will be able to be delivered at the same level and pace in England, especially since the physicality and rhythm in the Premier League is more ferocious.
