Context

Djed Spence is a promising right-back currently playing for Tottenham, and his move to Inter could be an important step in his player development. His defensive and attacking ability fits Inter's style of play, aiming for success in Serie A.

Why it matters

The signing of Djed Spence is crucial for Inter to fill the gap left by Denzel Dumfries on the right side of the defence. With his good performance in the World Cup, Inter's interest shows their intention to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Serie A season. Signing a quality player in this position could improve their performance in the league.

Key Points

• Inter Committed to Signing Djed Spence; Searching for.
• Inter strengthening on the right side, Djed Spence is the main target to replace Dumfries.
• Inter, Spence il nome caldo ma se parte Luis Henrique servono due esterni. E Frattesi può salutare.

Inter Milan continue to step up their search for new quality outside players, especially after losing Denzel Dumfries at right back. It's only ten days until the start of the new season in Serie A, but Inter still can't help the hole left by the Dutch fullback. The management's main choice is Djed Spence, who has been scouted by the Nerazzurri for a long time. After the Englishman's good World Cup campaign, Tottenham's demand for him has dropped from P50 million euros. It is estimated that the expected transfer fee could reach around 34 million euros, more affordable for Inter.

But the team's problems don't end there. Luis Henrique is also looking increasingly likely to leave, after being the center of interest from Roma. Right now the negotiations have started, and it is estimated that 30 million euros are being demanded in exchange for the young player. If his departure goes through, Inter will need not just one but two outside players—one on the right (Spence) and one on the left or opposite side. This is to ensure there is enough depth and options on both flanks for coach Chivu. While busy looking for new additions, Inter are also trying to cut some squad members to raise funds for upcoming recruitments. One of them is Davide Frattesi, who is currently recognized by Lazio as a target for the transfer window. It is offered as a loan with an obligation to purchase, as well as a percentage of the future resale value. Frattesi is said to be open to sailing to Rome, but negotiations are currently underway. If it goes through, it would open the way for Inter's interest in signing Chivu target Curtis Jones to further strengthen the central midfield. All in all, the next day is very important for Inter — not only to complete their recruitment in positions of need, but to maintain the strength of the team throughout the season. Expect more hot news as the official opening of Serie A approaches.

What's next

If Luis Henrique's departure goes ahead, Inter will need to look for another outside player besides Spence to maintain the depth of their squad. Negotiations for Henrique appear to be progressing, leaving open the possibility that Inter will return to the transfer market for further signings. The summer transfer window will be critical for Inter to meet their squad needs.
