• Marmoush e un futuro in bilico al City: parlerà con Maresca, Tottenham interested.

Omar Marmoush's future at Manchester City remains in doubt as the player and the club await a clear indication from new coach Enzo Maresca. According to reports from England, City have yet to make a decision about the future of the Egyptian forward and Marmoush plans to find out his role in the project before deciding on his next move. Marmoush arrived at the Etihad with high expectations, but it is clear that he will have to prove himself in front of the new coaching staff. A large part of his decision was contained in a direct conversation with Maresca during the preparation for the new season — it will tell how much the coach trusts and scores in him, and how much space he can be given in the first team. On the other hand, in recent days it appears that Tottenham is the team most pushed to get Marmoush. Spurs are making sure they are following the situation closely and are ready to speed up talks if Manchester City open up the possibility of a transfer. The report also mentions that Newcastle is also monitoring the development of the situation, but at the moment Tottenham is moving more aggressively.

It is important to note that Marmoush is under contract with Manchester City until 2029, so any transfer will not happen lightly unless there is a clear agreement between the parties. According to the report, Marmoush would prefer to stay at City if the club can assure him that he will have an important role in the team. If not, he said he is ready to study the offers that come in — and Tottenham are ready to pursue a move if given the chance. For Spurs, Marmoush would be a huge addition to Roberto De Zerbi's offense if the transfer goes through, especially as the club look for an additional attacking option for next season. On the other hand, Maresca's decision in the preseason will be the first to clarify: if he gives enough minutes and role to Marmoush, there is a good chance that the Egyptian forward will stay; otherwise, the possibility of withdrawal opens up. Talk will remain heated in the coming weeks as pre-season draws to a close and Maresca reviews his schedule and plans for the player. We will monitor any official statement by Manchester City, Tottenham, or Marmoush himself for further developments.

What's next

Marmoush is expected to hold talks with Enzo Maresca to find out his role in Manchester City's future. If he doesn't get a definite chance in the first team, the Egyptian forward could consider a move to Tottenham, who are currently leading the talks, while Newcastle continue to monitor the situation.
