Klose responded as Messi reached his World Cup goals record
Former Germany player Miroslav Klose made the comments after Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick against Algeria to take his tally to 16 goals — equaling Klose's previous World Cup record.
MiГroslav Klose, the former forward of the German national team, reacted after it was confirmed that Lionel Messi had reached his record number of goals in the FIFA World Cup.
Before Klose's statement, Messi scored a hat-trick in Argentina's 3:0 win over Algeria — bringing his total World Cup goals to 16. This number was a long-standing record previously held by Klose.
