Confirmed: Venezia sign 18-year-old Ale Gomes from Real Zaragoza
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, newly promoted Venezia have acquired the services of Spain U18 defender Ale Gomes from Real Zaragoza for €2M plus bonus after Zaragoza were relegated.
A report from Italy, reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, has confirmed that newly promoted Venezia have signed teenage centre-back Ale Gomes from Real Zaragoza. According to the report, the contract is expected to be worth €2 million plus bonuses and has been agreed upon by the two clubs; the only remaining step is to formally sign the documents.
Gomes, 18 and currently in the Spain U18 setup, has 13 appearances in the Spanish second division in 2025–26. Apart from that, he also played twice in the Copa del Rey and had eight games for Zaragoza's reserve side in the fourth tier of Spanish football.

The new names reported to have been signed by Venezia include the following: Arnel Bella-Kotchap, Toma Basic, Thorir Johann Helgason, Kornel Lisman, Lorenzo Berardi and Thierry Correia.
Di Marzio added that Sparta Prague defender Albion Rrahmani is expected to undergo a medical at the beginning of next week as another possible addition for Venezia.
No official statement from either club has been recorded in the report, so expect confirmation once the signing of the documents is complete.
