Liverpool struggled to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah after being rejected by Yan Diomande

Liverpool are facing another test in their search for their next right winger with Yan Diomande's choice of Paris Saint-Germain and PSG are also planning to keep Bradley Barcola.

It looks like Liverpool will soon say goodbye to their star Mohamed Salah this summer. Even though Salah had one year left on his contract, he chose to leave the club amid disagreements with Arne Slot. With offers strong from the leagues in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, it seems the Reds will forever be looking for a new favorite right winger.

One of Liverpool's main targets is Yan Diomande, but the young winger from the Ivory Coast has opted for a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) over Anfield. As a result, Richard Hughes and the Liverpool recruitment team had to look for other options.

Liverpool are now looking at Bradley Barcola, another young PSG winger known for his ability on the left but who has proven to be able to rotate on both sides of the attack. But according to a report from BBC Sport, PSG intends to give Barcola a new contract, making his move to Liverpool more complicated.

Apart from Barcola, Liverpool have also acquired a new player from Osasuna—Spain winger Victor Munoz who was bought for £34.5 million. However, Liverpool's desire to add a quality winger as a direct replacement for Salah is notable.

Although there are doubts as to whether Barcola will actually move, Liverpool supporters are also worried about the possible height of the transfer fee that PSG will ask for. Currently, there is no pressure on PSG to sell Barcola due to their deep squad and continued reinforcements, including the £60 million-plus they bought Goncalo Ramos.

As Liverpool continue to search for a replacement for Salah, it's clear that negotiations won't be easy—especially if PSG remain persistent in not letting Barcola go. In the coming weeks, football fans will definitely be watching to see who will be Liverpool's new main winger.
