Big Transfer Hits: Arsenal and Liverpool Target Bouaddi, Manchester City Focus on Branthwaite

Arsenal and Liverpool are heating up the transfer market with interest in Ayyoub Bouaddi, while Manchester City are trying to land Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite. There were also big moves for Mason Greenwood and Ederson.

This year's transfer window is heating up early with action from Europe's top clubs. One of the most anticipated is a move by Arsenal and Liverpool, who are both interested in Lille's Ayyoub Bouaddi. Bouaddi, who helped Morocco earn a 1-1 draw against Brazil in their first match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is currently the talk of the market—his price could reach £60 million. Liverpool are also in negotiations to get the midfielder while Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring him.

Meanwhile, Ismael Saibari of PSV Eindhoven is more famous after the historic goal against Brazil in the World Cup. Because of this, his transfer value is further increased, and Bayern Munich may find it difficult to sign him.

For defenders, Manchester City are trying to sign Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite, 23, as a possible replacement for John Stones. But Everton's demand is high—it is said to be around £70 million for the England international. On the other hand, Brighton's Jan Paul van Hecke will decide his future at the club after the World Cup, especially since two of Tottenham's bids for the Dutch defender were rejected by Brighton.

In Italy, Roma are planning to table £35 million for Mason Greenwood—including a sell-on clause that is expected to persuade Marseille to allow the deal. In other news, Brazil's Ederson, from Atalanta, is expected to complete his move to Manchester United after a medical. Meanwhile, Manchester United could potentially save money on former coach Ruben Amorim if he heads to AC Milan, based on a compensation deal.

Stay tuned for more news and confirmation of these moves as the start of the new season gets closer and closer.
