Real Madrid's Julian Alvarez Transfer On Hold After Negotiations Halt
Real Madrid are backing out of Atletico Madrid target Julian Alvarez after communication between the two teams broke down and no new offer was made after an initial €150 million bid.
The alleged delay in the transfer of Julian Alvarez to Real Madrid is being talked about in the world of La Liga. After the previous €150 million bid tabled by Los Blancos for the Atletico Madrid forward, Real have confirmed there will be no further offer, according to Fabrizio Romano. Communication between the two teams has also stopped, causing negotiations to be temporarily halted.
It will be recalled that Real Madrid were open and official when they announced their bid for Alvarez—a hot asset in Europe due to his goal-scoring prowess, tireless defensive moves, and tactical acumen. Atletico Madrid's answer: a firm position that they will not sell the player they consider the cornerstone of coach Diego Simeone's project this summer.
