Argentina's camp is overflowing with admiration for Lionel Messi after he set new FIFA World Cup history—becoming the tournament's all-time top scorer with 18 goals, surpassing Miroslav Klose's previous record.
"There is not much to say, everyone can see. He has been the best in the world for twenty years, the best in history. He continues to prove it; despite his age, the magic is still there," said Julian Alvarez.
