Juventus may say goodbye to two more directors after Comolli leaves
After the departure of Damien Comolli as CEO, reports from Italy claim that Francois Modesto and possibly Marco Ottolini will also resign from Juventus while a new management structure is assessed.
Juventus confirmed on Friday that Damien Comolli has stepped down as CEO, a year after he was appointed — a departure which the club said was by mutual consent. According to the report, the club will pay around €850,000 as severance to Comolli.
Juventus immediately named Giovanni Carnevali, a former Sassuolo executive, as Comolli's replacement in the CEO position. However, this is not the only possible change in the senior leadership of the Bianconeri.

Besides Modesto, Juventus is also currently reviewing the position of sporting director Marco Ottolini. Ottolini, 46, was only appointed midway through the 2025-26 season, and although his role is under review, reports consider him more likely to stay than Modesto. However, according to sources, there is no definite decision yet and any possibility cannot be ruled out at this point.
All in all, it is clear that Juventus are undertaking a major reassessment of the managerial and sporting structure following Comolli's departure, while supporters and media await the club's formal statement regarding possible further changes.
