Why it matters

Bradley Barkola's situation becomes important in the context of the transfer market, especially for Ligue 1 clubs aiming to keep their stars. The decision not to renew Barcola's contract allowed offers from top European clubs.

Key Points

• PSG will only accept €120M offer for Bradley Barcola — report.
• PSG willing to listen to offers for Bradley Barcola if €120M and above; Liverpool are leading, and Bayern are watching, according to L'Équipe.
• «PSG» will consider offers for Barkola only from € 120 million — L'Équipe.

Paris Saint‑Germain are ready to sell Bradley Barcola, but the club's rule is clear: they will only look at offers of €120 million or more. This was reported by L'Équipe, along with the information that the winger refused to renew his current contract at the Parc des Princes. According to the report, Liverpool are leading the race for the 23-year-old winger's signature. Behind, but still watching, is Bayern Munich. However, it was also added that PSG wants to finish other internal matters first before finally discussing Barcola's future, showing that the Parisian club is not rushing into any decision until its overall plan for next season is clear. Barcola arrived at PSG in the summer of 2023 and quickly logged heavy minutes under their system. Last season, he featured in 49 games in all competitions and recorded 13 goals and 7 assists — an indication that he brings direct production in the final third of the pitch. His contract runs until the summer of 2028, giving PSG the courage to set a high valuation amid interest from various European giants.

The report added that Barcola's current market value is estimated at €90 million according to Transfermarkt, so PSG's €120 million demand is a clear premium for a young winger with a long contract. Usually in this situation the club sets a price that will make it feel who is serious, while protecting its asset if no one is willing to reach the threshold. For Liverpool, leading the race for Barcola is a sign that they are open to adding pace and direct attack down the flank. As for Bayern, the constant monitoring is in keeping with their tradition of proactively identifying talent in the wing positions. However, the report did not mention whether a formal offer had been submitted from any of the interested parties. For now, PSG's position is clear: there is no discussion if €120 million is off the table. Pending the next move, Barcola will be at the center of talk in the transfer market — a prolific winger who has proven himself at the highest level and whose contract gives his club negotiating control.

What's next

PSG are expected to be active in discussing offers for Barcola, but they will only consider offers of up to €120 million. While Liverpool lead the battle for the winger, Bayern Munich continue to monitor the situation. PSG may have to wait for their internal talks to settle before deciding on Barcola's future, which has highlighted their strategy in the transfer market.
