Ryan Thomas, captain of PEC Zwolle, gave strong support for their coach Henry van der Vegt after their team lost against SC Cambuur. Despite the setback, Thomas took a big part of the responsibility and encouraged his teammates that they need to work harder to restore confidence and wins. With their defeat, Thomas could not hide his disappointment. The captain mentioned that PEC Zwolle did everything to win and they should have won the match earlier. "I'm really angry with the result. We did everything to win and we should have won early. In the first twenty minutes, we could only have been 3-0. It's clear that we weren't aggressive enough," said Thomas. In the end, an unlucky goal went in and that's where the match ended. We have to turn it around immediately."
