With tonight's deadline closing for registration in the upcoming Serie B and Serie C season, only Ternana are confirmed not to participate; Foggia is expected to replace it. Other teams have overcome their issues to register.
Tonight, the registration period for teams for the upcoming season of Serie B and Serie C will formally end. From the news, it is certain that Ternana will be missing from the list of participants after it went bankrupt, and it is very likely that Foggia will take its place as the top of the list of teams that can rejoin, especially after the withdrawal of Bra.
In Serie B, two teams are almost in danger of not making it—Cesena and Juve Stabia. In the end Cesena met their obligations and passed all the necessary documents for registration. On the other hand, Juve Stabia reached the point of collapse but was immediately rescued by its new patron, Alfredo Guerri, after providing additional capital and paying delayed wages so that the application for the season was finally passed.

The situation is more complicated in Serie C where several teams are on the problem list. Besides Ternana, Bari (had a new agreement for the use of the San Nicola stadium), Crotone (who expressed continued support from their owner), and Grosseto (neopromoted and paid all arrears of wages and guarantees pending a change of owner) have also settled issues. Doubts still remain in Cosenza, due to the problem related to their home stadium, San Vito Marulla, which is currently undergoing renovation; Scida plans to use Crotone as an alternative home field.
Tomorrow, the two leagues will officially acknowledge the applications they received and forward them to the FIGC. Before the end of June, the Commissione Indipendente and the Commissione Criteri Infrastrutturali e Sportivi-Organizzativi will evaluate the financial and infrastructural capacity of the registrants. On July 1, the Federal Council will decide on the granting of national licenses. The application for readmission, substitute, and wild card is set until July 20.
