The trend continues to heat up in the Serie A transfer market, with teams keenly vying to strengthen their line-up for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Leading the news are AS Roma who have shown interest in their attack by meeting with the agents of Crysencio Summerville, winger from West Ham. According to Sportitalia's report, the conversation took place on Tuesday morning, and is one of Roma's moves to secure a sharper offense for their campaign. Aside from Summerville, Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, Chelsea's Diego Moreira, and Brazilian wonderkid Endrick are also on Roma's radar, based on reports from Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta. On the other hand, Juventus continues to search for a solid goalkeeper for next year. One of their long-time targets is Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez. However, the English team's position became tough when they openly stated through Damian Vidagany that they would not sell the Argentine goalkeeper. It appears that Juventus is looking for an alternative and is said to be planning to submit an offer for Franck Kessié as a free agent, while Folarin Balogun is also on the list in case of disagreement with PSG regarding Randal Kolo Muani.

Meanwhile, there's plenty of action on the other big teams as well. Milan are targeting Noussair Mazraoui as a replacement for Pervis Estupinan, with an offer from Aston Villa. There is also talk that Milan is interested in Benfica's Antonio Silva, after the Portuguese defender rejected a contract extension from his current club. At Inter Milan, they are closely eyeing Djed Spence and Nahuel Molina as possible replacements for Denzel Dumfries, while Strasbourg are demanding €35 million for Guela Doué. Atalanta director Cristiano Giuntoli also gave a statement regarding the failed negotiations with Ederson to Manchester United: "We are surprised, he is happy to stay and his new contract is being discussed." In addition, other teams have seen activity: Sassuolo is interested in Daniel Maldini, Hamed Traoré has undergone a medical test for Genoa, and Yann Sommer from Inter has officially joined Club Brugge. Fiorentina also has a verbal agreement for Víctor Valdepeñas who is a defender from Real Madrid, while Napoli is trying to sign Niccolò Fortini from Fiorentina. Como are also not lagging behind after signing Luis Milla, admitting Cesc Fabregas' important role in his transfer. Frosinone's negotiations are almost complete for their loan deal with Sebastiano Desplanches from Palermo. Despite the rest of the transfer news, it's clear the Serie A market continues to battle, and more moves are expected in the coming days.

What's next

Talks between Roma and Summerville's agents are expected to continue as the transfer market becomes more active. Decisions on potential transfers could affect other Roma targets, such as Alejandro Garnacho and Diego Moreira.
