Mattia Liberali's future has a new twist after coach Ruben Amorim's request to bring the 19-year-old midfielder back to San Siro reached AC Milan's offices. Liberali won praise in Serie B following a fine season with Catanzaro and is now a focused prospect for the Rossoneri.
A product of Milan's youth academy, Liberali was loaned to Catanzaro in August 2025 for free, but with an agreement that Catanzaro would receive 50 percent of the next transfer fee. According to the report, Liberali's contract has a release clause set at €6 million, of which €3 million will go to Milan—a reason why the Rossoneri are considering a recall.
