Transfer talks heat up in Europe as the window approaches:

  • Chelsea are closing in on signing Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix (26) for around €55m (£47.4m), after the French defender played at the World Cup.
  • Newcastle United have added Borussia Dortmund's Germany midfielder Felix Nmecha (25) to their shortlist for this summer.
  • Newcastle have rejected Arsenal's £55m offer for Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes (28).
  • At Tottenham, coach Roberto De Zerbi wants to make Czech Antonin Kinsky (23) the starting goalkeeper, and Spurs are said to be willing to sell Italy keeper Guglielmo Vicario (29).

  • AC Milan, club-record deal agreed for Goncalo Ramos (25) from Paris Saint-Germain; the Portugal striker has already undergone medical.
  • MLS side Atlanta United, questioning the availability of Spain midfielder Koke (34) of Atletico Madrid.
  • Ajax are interested in signing Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen (34) from Barcelona.
