AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale walked into Milanello this morning to personally monitor the training session and meet the club's directors and coach Ruben Amorim to discuss the next steps in the transfer market, reports Sportitalia. The broadcaster shared a video of Cardinale's arrival at the training center, which showed the owner's intention to be actively involved in team operations. Such a visit is important because Milan came into the summer with big spending: they are contributing around €100 million in new signings, including bringing in Gonçalo Ramos for attack and Mario Gila for defense. As a result, fans and club officials are hoping for a clearer management roadmap for the remainder of the transfer window. According to the report, part of the meeting's agenda is to progress talks on the possible sale of Pervis Estupinan — there are talks between Milan and Aston Villa — while the club waits for a concrete offer for their main winger, Rafael Leao. The sources also determined that if Leao leaves, Milan's priority in the attack line is to get Konstantinos Karetsas; also said there was an initial offer from Borussia Dortmund for the young player.

Cardinale's presence in Milanello and the planned meeting with Amorim indicate direct coordination between the technical and administrative side of the club. As a coach, Ruben Amorim will be at the center of the discussion when it comes to what player profile will suit his system and tactics. It's unclear what exact decision will be agreed at the meeting, but Milan are clearly active in building their squad after their big spending spree this summer. Despite the moves, there is another big news to emerge from the reports: Luka Modric has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with the Rossoneri until 2027. If true, this will bring more experience and quality to Milan's midfield as the squad takes a new shape. Talk will remain hot in Milan: from Leao's potential departure, Estupinan's possible transfer, to targets like Karetsas and Modric's contract settlement. Fans will monitor the next official announcements from the club after the meeting between Cardinale, Amorim and the directors.

What's next

Discussions are expected to continue regarding the possible sale and purchase of players, particularly the situation of Pervis Estupinan and Rafael Leao. If Leao's departure goes through, signing Konstantinos Karetsas from Borussia Dortmund will be Milan's top priority. These decisions may affect player development and overall strategy of AC Milan for the rest of the transfer window.
