Context

Albion Rrahmani is an important addition for Venezia, who are looking to strengthen their attack in Serie A. His ability as a center gives a new dimension to their game, while finding an additional striker is vital for their success in the league.

Why it matters

Albion Rrahmani's arrival at Venezia has given a new direction to their attack, aiming to strengthen their presence in Serie A football. The selection of Akor Adams as the main target shows the club's need for a more physical striker who can help them progress in the league. Despite the challenges in the transfer market, the focus on alternative options such as Che Adams and Orri Óskarsson shows Venezia's thorough planning for their attack.

Key Points

• After Rrahmani, Venezia is also looking at Orri Óskarsson of.
• Venezia target the final piece in their attack: Sevilla's Akor Adams is the main option, while Torino's Che Adams and Real Sociedad's Orri Óskarsson are among the alternatives.
• Venezia, even Oskarsson della Real Sociedad nel mirino per l'attacco.

Venezia are preparing the final piece to complete their attack for the coming season, following the arrival of Albion Rrahmani. According to a report by La Nuova Venezia, center back Akor Adams of Sevilla remains the club's main target to add physicality and presence in the box—an attribute the team will want to strengthen in the second phase of the transfer window. If negotiations for Adams do not work out, Venezia have a clear plan-b: stick Rrahmani as the main center and the club will look for a second striker who can move into the spaces behind or on the side of the defense. The list of priority names for this role includes Torino's Che Adams and Real Sociedad's young up-and-comer Orri Óskarsson—two options who can provide speed, combination, and creativity in the final third.

The report emphasizes that the selection of Akor Adams as a top target is based on Venezia's need for a heavier presence up front. When facing more physical defenses, a striker who can hang onto the ball, win the air, and open up space for defenders is essential. This is where the value of the alternative plan comes in: if Rrahmani is to become the main number 9, he will need a partner who is good in connection, knows how to position himself in half-spaces, and has the timing to cut in behind the line—qualities that Che Adams and Óskarsson can offer. As of now, no details have been released regarding a possible fee or structure of the deal and the door remains open for other negotiations to progress. However, the direction is clear: there is only one remaining piece that Venezia want to add to build their attack ahead of the competition, and different routes are laid out depending on the outcome of talks with Sevilla. For the Venezians, the coming week will be crucial: the club remains focused on top target Akor Adams, but is also ready to turn to an alternative track if necessary, with the names Che Adams and Orri Óskarsson positioned as immediate solutions. The board will be keen to get the right balance of strength and movement up front—and that will determine who ends up in the dugout this transfer summer.

What's next

Entering the summer transfer window, Venezia are committed to securing a second striker should negotiations for Akor Adams fail. Options like Che Adams and Orri Óskarsson could provide much-needed pace and creativity to their attack. The next few weeks will be critical for Venezia as they try to complete their lineup before the start of the new season.
