The group stage will run from June 11 to 27, followed by a new round of 32, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the championship match that will be held on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.
Before the start of the first match, a grand opening ceremony will take place at the Estadio Azteca, Mexico City on June 11, 1:30 n.h. (Eastern Time). Demand for tickets is especially high, especially for Canadian fans who want to see their team play in their home country. Although most of the tickets are sold out, there is still a possibility to get the next releases online.

Additionally, there will be FIFA Fan Festivals in Toronto, Vancouver, and other U.S. host cities. and Mexico. Live match broadcasts can be watched here, with concerts and cheap and delicious food. Admission is free but a free general admission ticket must be obtained online.
Team Canada has also announced an official 26-man roster, which is younger than usual—average age is 25. It will be led by team captain Alphonso Davies, even though he is among the injured. The line-up also includes Jonathan David and starting goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau. The youngest in the line-up is Luc de Fougerolles (20), while Jonathan Osorio (33) is the oldest. Jayden Nelson replaced Marcelo Flores due to the latter's ACL injury, and there is a possibility of more changes. Moïse Bombito's status is day-to-day after tibia surgery.
The system used in the draw is based on the FIFA rankings current as of November 19, 2025. Canada, USA, and Mexico automatically went to the top seeded teams. Each team is guaranteed three matches in which they compete in their own group. Three points for a win, one for a draw, and zero for a loss. The top two in each group will immediately enter the round of 32, while the next eight best teams will also enter regardless of group.
If the points are equal, the goal difference (goals scored minus goals allowed) will be the first tiebreaker, followed by the total goals scored, and then the least yellow/red cards. In the knockout stages, if there is still a tie, there is an extra time of two 15-minute halves, and a penalty shootout if the score is still tied.
